If you have recently moved to Istanbul and want to compete, the first thing to understand is that the phrase Istanbul padel tournament covers three very different worlds. The live list above this article shows what is open right now; this guide helps you decide which of those listings actually fits you.
Federation events. The Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) runs padel nationally, and 2026 was its breakout year. A national team selection tournament was held on 27–29 April 2026 at Soul Entertainment Group in Esenyurt; the FIP Bronze QNB Cup on 4–7 June 2026 at The Padel House drew 66 teams from 27 countries; and the first QNB Turkish Padel Championship took place on 10–13 August 2026 at the Istanbul Hunting and Shooting Sports Club, open to licensed players aged 18–40 in men's and women's doubles. Entries go through the federation's i-Kort portal, matches are best of three sets with tie-breaks, and you need a Turkish license. If you hold a strong ranking back home, this is where you eventually want to be, but it is not where you start.
Corporate cups. The Meditopia Padel Cup, Turkey's first inter-company padel tournament, ran from 4 April to 7 June 2026 at ISTA – Istanbul Tennis Academy in Sarıyer, with teams from 13 organisations playing roughly 200 matches in a league-plus-finals format. If your employer fields a team, it is a friendly way to meet colleagues on court; if not, club-run team entries on QReserve give you the same doubles-league feel.
Club tournaments and leagues. This is where most players in Istanbul actually compete: weekend americanos, doubles tournaments, round-robin point leagues, knockout brackets and challenge-ladder leagues (called defi leagues here). Level bands are narrow, so matches are competitive rather than lopsided.
Two numbers matter on QReserve. The star level runs from 1.0 to 7.0 and is the scale clubs use when they set the level band for a tournament; a 3.0–4.0 doubles event is not meant for beginners, and the entry screen will tell you if you fall outside the band. If you played rated padel abroad, set your star level honestly. Inflating it gets you eliminated early; deflating it will be noticed by the organiser reviewing entries.
ELO is different: it is not self-declared. It moves with every league and tournament result recorded in the system, rising a lot when you beat a higher-rated pair and falling a lot when you lose to a lower-rated one. As a practical rule:
Gender rules (women only, men only or mixed) and age ranges are shown on every entry card. Mixed doubles events in Istanbul fill fast.
For an expat, the commute decides more tournaments than the level band does. QReserve's Istanbul padel list includes clubs in European-side districts such as Sarıyer, Şişli, Bakırköy, Esenyurt and Eyüpsultan, and Asian-side districts such as Üsküdar and Beykoz. Every federation and corporate event of 2026 was played on the European side, mostly along the Sarıyer–Esenyurt corridor. A one-day americano across the water is fine; a six-week doubles league on the other side means six bridge crossings at peak traffic, and missed matches cost you ELO. Tournament entries are open to club members. If you are not a member yet, the club's quick-membership link gets you in within minutes, and the entry button on the tournament card becomes active. You will then see:

No. Club tournaments on QReserve only require club membership. Federation events such as the QNB Turkish Padel Championship require a TTF license and an i-Kort registration.
Set it honestly on the 1.0–7.0 scale; the organiser can see your entry and your results. ELO is not self-declared and will adjust after your first recorded matches, so a few open matches before your first tournament help.
Doubles entries are made as a team and your partner must also be a club member. Open matches and the club's challenge (defi) league are the fastest ways to meet a partner at your level.
Yes. Scores from leagues and tournaments run through QReserve are recorded against your ELO, which then feeds into level checks and seeding for later events.
