If you are coming to Antalya for the winter, or you already live on the coast, you will notice something about padel here: the season runs the other way round. While clubs in northern Europe move indoors from October, Antalya keeps playing outdoors, and its tournament calendar is busiest between autumn and late spring. This guide explains how the local scene works for a visiting or expat player, where the clubs are, and how to get into a doubles draw at the right level. The top of this page lists tournaments that are open for entry, in progress, upcoming and finished; that list is live, so we do not repeat it here.
Antalya gets roughly 2,870 hours of sunshine a year. January, the coldest month, averages about 10 degrees Celsius with daytime highs near 15; August averages over 29. Rain is concentrated between November and March, mostly in short spells, so winter tournaments are scheduled outdoors and only occasionally shifted by a wet day. In July and August the heat pushes matches into evening sessions. For a player arriving from the UK, Germany or Scandinavia in December, the practical takeaway is simple: bring outdoor shoes and sun protection, not indoor kit.
Antalya is an established winter training base for European sports clubs, and padel is part of that flow. Several local clubs advertise programmes and camps for international guests, and the entry lists at club tournaments reflect it. At a 36-player club tournament in Muratpaşa in June 2026, the overall title went to a Russian national and her Turkish husband. Expect mixed fields: Turkish regulars, resident foreigners from the Alanya and Lara communities, and short-stay visitors. That mix is exactly why the level band on each tournament matters more here than in a purely local scene.

Most tournaments in Antalya are doubles, and the most common reason visitors do not enter is that they arrived alone. Three routes work well:
Every tournament on QReserve is opened with a star level band between 1.0 and 7.0. The club may also set a gender rule, an age range, capacity, an entry deadline and a fee, and applications are either approved automatically or reviewed one by one. If you are used to a national rating from home, resist the urge to enter one band lower "to be safe". Play a few open matches first, let your ELO settle, then apply to the band that fits. Applications outside the band can be declined; that is how organisers keep draws balanced, not a judgement on you.
Tournament entry requires membership of the club running it. If you are not a member, the tournament page offers a quick membership link; once approved you can enter singles or doubles (team) draws. Clubs also run round-robin leagues, knockout events and doubles leagues, and all of those appear in the live list on this page. Be aware that the number of tournaments published through QReserve in Antalya is still growing; as clubs open events they show up here automatically, so it is worth checking again at the start of your stay.
