The one facility we can verify is in Didim: the rackets club at Akra Didim has 4 standard padel courts plus 1 panoramic match court, all with LED lighting for evening play, and the club states that it runs tournaments and social leagues in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. We found no published record of a permanent padel club in Kuşadası or in Efeler (Aydın city). The Aydın padel courts directory on QReserve reflects the same picture: listings are only beginning. Nationally, padel sits under the Turkish Tennis Federation, whose 2026 national championship was played in Istanbul. For a player based in Aydın, the realistic goal is local club tournaments first.
Between June and September the coast fills with a different pool of players: summer-house owners from İzmir and Ankara, the largely British and Irish community living around Didim and Akbük, hotel guests and local club members. The tournament that suits this crowd is the one that does not require a fixed partner, finishes in a single evening and welcomes every level. Daytime heat pushes play into the evening, so a two-to-three-hour block after 19:00 fits both the court schedule and a holiday routine.
Americano is a doubles format in which your partner changes every round but the points are yours alone. Each match is played to a fixed number of points (usually 16, 24 or 32) with no 15-30-40 scoring: every rally won is one point. The player with the most points at the end wins. Mixed Americano reshuffles men and women into new pairs every round, the easiest way for people of different nationalities and levels to meet. A club opens an Americano as a singles (individual) entry, so you do not name a partner.
Every tournament listing carries a level band, defined on QReserve between 1.0 and 7.0 stars. If you are new to padel, an event opened at 1.0-3.0 is the right first step. Your ELO rating updates as scores are entered, and organisers use it to seed later events more evenly. You cannot enter a tournament whose band you fall outside; that protects you as much as your opponents.
